Simply Salted Julienne Fries

Makes: 4 Servings
2 EarthFresh Russet Potatoes: Best for Baking
1 litre vegetable oil
½ tsp salt
Wash, dry and slice the potatoes with a mandolin slicer fitted with a julienne blade.
Fill deep fryer with vegetable oil to maximum fill line. Turn the deep fryer heat to 350°F.
Working in small batches, fill the fry basket half-way with fries and drop into the oil for 3-4 minutes. Fries will float to the surface of the oil and turn golden brown in color when cooked.
Remove fry basket from the oil and shake-off excess oil over the deep fryer. Transfer fries to a brown paper bag, allowing the excess oil to absorb. Add salt, close the paper bag and shake the fries.
Transfer fries to a serving bowl and serve with your favorite dip. Enjoy!
